Figs:

Two varieties of figs love our high mineral content, ranch soils. The Mission, is an old fashioned purple fig. When super ripe, they taste just like candy. These figs are our sweetest variety and the most hardy. Their extra sugar content works well for drying, sauces, and jams. Making a more fleeting visit to our sales barn are the Yellow figs. These large figs are more meaty and less sweet, with an excellent flavor, their large size lends itself well the grilling and salads. Figs are available by the half flat or basket.
